Fair terms, plainly put.

bgremover is a self-hosted tool that removes backgrounds from images you upload and returns a transparent PNG. We provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may change or discontinue features over time.

You agree not to use bgremover to:

• Upload content you do not have the rights to process
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive material
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
• Circumvent rate limits, credits, or access controls

You retain all rights to the images you upload and to the processed results. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any image you submit. As described in our Privacy Policy, images are processed transiently and are not stored on our servers.

Some features require signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

The free tier allows limited usage subject to rate limits and a reduced maximum resolution. Credits on paid plans refill monthly and expire after 30 days. We may adjust limits to keep the service sustainable and fair for everyone.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your billing portal. Except where required by law, payments already processed are non-refundable. See our pricing page for current plans.

Free and anonymous use may include ads served by Google AdSense, which helps cover hosting costs. Paid plans are ad-free.

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Output quality depends on the input image and the model and is not guaranteed.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
